This isn't a sales call. I use it the same way I use every engagement — to ask the question nobody's asked yet. Sometimes that surfaces something worth pursuing together. Sometimes it doesn't. Either way, you leave with something useful.

The decision you're stuck on, the situation that isn't improving, the strategy you're questioning. Whatever brought you here.
I question the problem definition itself
Most of the time, the framing of the problem contains the assumption that's actually causing it. That's what I'm looking for.
We determine whether to go further
If there's something worth pursuing, I'll be direct about what that looks like. If not, I'll tell you that too.

No. Come with the problem as you currently understand it — the decision you're stuck on, the situation that isn't improving, the strategy you're questioning. Preparation tends to produce rehearsed answers, which is exactly what I'm trying to get past.
The discovery call determines that. I don't have a standard offer applied to every situation. What the right engagement looks like depends on what's actually going on — and I won't know that until we've talked. Don't try to pre-fit yourself into a service category before we speak.
Both. Engagements happen in whichever language serves the work better. Teams operating in German work with me in German; international clients in English. Nuance travels better in the language people actually think in.
Coaching and advisory work happens remotely. Team engagements and workshops are predominantly in person — the dynamics that make group assumption-work productive don't fully survive video. I'm based in Germany and travel within Europe for the right engagement.
Pricing depends on scope and format and is discussed after the discovery call. I don't publish fixed rates because the right engagement size varies considerably. The discovery call itself is free.
